KPK Government Approves Advance Salary & Pension Payment for Eid-ul-Fitr:
In a recent development, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially announced the advance disbursement of salaries and pensions for all Muslim government employees and pensioners. As Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on March 31st or April 1st, 2025 (depending on moon sighting), the provincial government has taken this initiative to ensure timely financial relief for its employees.
According to the notification issued by the KPK Finance Department, full pay and allowances, along with pensions for March 2025, will be provided in advance by March 20, 2025, instead of the usual disbursement date of April 1st. This decision aligns with the government’s commitment to facilitating its employees and pensioners, ensuring they can manage their Eid preparations without financial constraints.
This move is expected to benefit thousands of government employees across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including those in administration, judiciary, law enforcement, and public service sectors. I am directed to the subject noted above and to stated that on account of “Eid- ul-Fitr” falling on 31st March or 1st April, 2025 (subject to appearance of moon), the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to decide that full pay and allowances/full pension for the month of March, 2025 shall be paid in advance to all Muslim Employees/Pensioners of Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by 20-03-2025 instead of 1st April, 2025.
