New Administrators For Local Bodies Announced In Punjab-Notification

NOTIFICATION

No.SOR(LG)1-11/2019.- In exercise of the powers conferred under section 71 of the Punjab Local Government Act 2022 (XXXIII of 2022) and In supersession of the Notification No. SOR/LG/1-11-2019, dated 17.01.2023, Governor of the Punjab Is pleased to appoint the following officers as administrators, with immediate effect:

1.	Metropolitan Corporation Lahore	Deputy Commissioner, Lahore
2.	Municipal Corporations at Divisional headquarters	Commissioner of the respective Division
3.	All District Councils	Deputy Commissioner of the respective District
4.	Municipal Corporation Sialkot	Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sialkot
5.	Municipal Corporation Murree	Deputy Commissioner, Murree
6.	All Municipal Committees housed at the district headquarters	Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of the respective District
7.	All Municipal Committees other than those headquarters	Assistant Commissioner of the respective Tehsil
8.	All Union Councils	Assistant Director, Local Government and Community Development Department of the respective Tehsil

2. Every administrator shall perform all the duties and exercise all the powers of the respective Mayor and Deputy Mayor or, as the case may be, the Chairman or Vice Chairman, and the House till constitution and assumption of office by the elected local governments.
