Notification of Increase in Pension By Government of Balochistan

NOTIFICATION:

No.FD(R-I)II-29/2023/5154-5257/   With prior approval of the Government of Balochistan, the Finance Department is pleased to modify the notification No.FD(R.-I)V-1/2021/1731-1850 dated 9^th July, 2021 and increase the Monthly Pension of the Civil Pensioners & their families, @ 10% in the not Monthly Pension as drawn on 30^th June, 2021 with effect from 1^st July, 2021. The term Net Monthly Pension means the pension being drawn on 30^th June, 2021 minus Medical Allowance. All the other contents and terms & conditions of the aforementioned notification will remain the same.

2. In exercise to grant the increase allowed as above, w.e.f. 1^st July, 2021, the arrears of increase (Due, drawn, difference) will be adjusted in the regular Monthly Pension pay roll of the Pensioners and, the financial impact will be adjusted accordingly in revised budget of CFY 2023-24.

3. The increase hereby allowed shall be provisional & shall be reversible and recoverable from pensioners in ease the Hon’ble Supreme Court decides the case of Government of Balochistan vide CPLA No.207-Q/2022 in faovur of the Government, since the judgment of Hon’ble High Court regarding allowing the increase of Monthly Pension @10% on the net Monthly Pension as drawn: on 30^th June, 2021 of the Provincial Civil Pensioners & their Families  with effect from 1^st July, 2021, has been assailed by the Government of Balochistan.
