Revised Deadlines for Medical and Dental College Admissions Announced by PM&DC:

The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), committed to upholding the highest standards in medical and dental education across the country, has announced an important extension in admission timelines for the MBBS and BDS programs for the academic session 2024-25. This decision, taken during the PM&DC Council meeting held on 5^th January 2025, reflects the Council’s dedication to ensuring equitable access and ample opportunity for aspiring medical and dental students across Pakistan.

The revised admission deadlines provide extended timeframes for public and private medical and dental colleges to accommodate a larger pool of candidates, thereby facilitating a fairer admission process. Under the new schedule, public medical colleges have a deadline of 31st January 2025, while private medical colleges have until 28th February 2025 to complete admissions. Similarly, public dental colleges will close admissions on 15^th March 2025, and private dental colleges will conclude by 31^st March 2025. These extended timelines align with the PM&DC Admission Regulations, 2023, ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection process.

Consequent upon the decision of the PM&DC Council in its meeting held on 05th January 2025, the admission timelines for the MBBS and BDS programs for Session 2024-25 are being extended, as under:

        Kindly note that the admission shall be made strictly in accordance with the PM&DC Admission Regulations, 2023 and subsequent decisions of the Council. Moreover, no further extension shall be granted to this effect.
