Punjab Announces 1st Higher Education Department Sports Event for Teachers–Official Notification

Punjab Launches 1^st Higher Education Department Sports Event for Teachers:

The Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab is all set to organize its 1st-ever Teachers’ Sports Event 2025, bringing together educators from across the province to promote sportsmanship, fitness, and teamwork. The event is scheduled to take place from February 14 to February 16, 2025, in Lahore, as per the official notification issued by the Directorate of Public Instruction (Colleges), Punjab.

All Directors of Education (Colleges) in Punjab have been instructed to submit team entries to the Sports Wing of DPI (C) Punjab by 4:00 PM on February 11, 2025. Teams must follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and event calendar as outlined by the Higher Education Department.

This initiative aims to foster a culture of sports and physical well-being among teachers, allowing them to participate in a healthy competitive environment. Winning teams from each division are required to make necessary preparations to compete at the provincial level. Please find the official notification below:

Refer to the subject cited above, the 1^st Higher Education Department Punjab Sports Events for Teachers 2025 is going to held from 14^th to 16^th February 2025 in Lahore (Calendar attached) according to the SOPs (copy attached).

In this regard, you are kindly requested to submit the teams’ entry lists to the Sports Wing of DPI (C) Punjab by 4:00 PM on 11^th February 2025 via email at directorsportsdpic@gmail.com and through WhatsApp to Mr. Umer Zahid, Assistant Director (Sports), DPI (C) Punjab, at 03244894490.

Additionally, please direct the winning teams from your respective division to make the necessary arrangements and preparations in accordance with the approved calendar and SOPs of the 1^st Higher Education Department Punjab (Teachers) Sports Events 2025.
