PEC Announces Training for Test Administrators Ahead of LSA-2025:
The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has officially announced a one-day training program for Test Administrators (TAs) as part of preparations for the Large Scale Assessment (LSA-2025). The training aims to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the Sample-Based LSA-2025 for Grade 6 & 7 (full-scale) and Grade 8 (pilot) in selected schools across Punjab.
This initiative will cover educational institutions under the School Education Department (SED), Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority (PEIMA), Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority (PDS&CEA), Special Education Department, DPS, Smart Schools, and Registered Private Schools. The LSA-2025 assessments are scheduled to take place from March 17 to March 21, 2025, while the training session for TAs is set for March 15, 2025 in all 36 districts of Punjab.
All Chief Executive Officers of District Education Authorities (DEAs) have been directed to issue necessary instructions to ensure the participation of Test Administrators and smooth execution of the assessment process.

SUBJECT: ONE-DAY TRAINING OF THE TEST ADMINISTRATORS (TAS) FOR THE CONDUCT OF SAMPLE BASED LARGE SCALE ASSESSMENT (LSA-2025) FOR GRADE 6 & 7 (FULL-SCALE) & GRADE 8 (PILOT) ACROSS THE PUNJAB

2. The Punjab Examination Commission is going to conduct the Sample Based Large Scale Assessment (LSA-2025) for Grade 6 & 7 (full-scale) & Grade 8 (pilot) in the selected schools working under the Administrative control of the School Education Department (SED). Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority (PEIMA), Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority (PDS&CEA), Special Education Department, DPS, Smart Schools, and Registered Private Schools (Chain & General) across the Punjab w.e.f 17th to 21st March, 2025.
3. In this regard, the training of Test Administrators is an important activity. Therefore, the one-day training for Test Administrators/ TAs to conduct the Sample Based Large Scale Assessment (LSA-2025) in all 36 districts of the Punjab has been scheduled as under.

4. The District Focal Person will call all the Test Administrators (TAS) nominated for LSA Grade 6 & 7 (full-scale) & Grade 8 (pilot) on the scheduled date, time & venue in four groups and each LMT will be responsible to train two groups.
5. The District Focal Persons will distribute all the LSA material to the nominated Test Administrators after the training and furnish training completion & distribution of LSA material certificate to the Punjab Examination Commission or to the representative of the PEC.
6. Please, issue necessary instructions to all the concern heads/ owners of the selected schools for LSA-2025 working under your jurisdiction to cooperate with nominated Test Administrators (TAS) for smooth conduct of LSA-2025 and ensure that all the Test Administrators/ TAs complete the five days activity as per schedule.
