Punjab Government Calls Pre-Provincial Selection Board-II Meeting for Promotions:
The Government of Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD) has officially announced a Pre-Provincial Selection Board-II (Pre-PSB-II) / Proforma Promotion Committee meeting scheduled for March 14, 2025. This meeting is a critical step in the promotion process of government employees and aims to ensure a transparent and efficient selection process.
As per the S&GAD policy circular dated June 4, 2020, the concerned Secretaries of the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Higher Education Department, and Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department must personally attend this meeting to ensure that promotion cases are properly reviewed and presented before the Board.
The Punjab Government emphasizes the importance of due diligence in all promotion cases to ensure fair and merit-based decisions.

SUBJECT: MEETING OF PRE-PROVINCIAL SELECTION BOARD-II/ PROFORMA PROMOTION COMMITTEE
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to apprise that a meeting of Pre-Provincial Selection Board-II/Proforma Promotion Committee has been scheduled for 14.03.2025 (Friday) at 02:00 P.M in the office of Secretary (Services), S&GAD, Agenda of the meeting is enclosed.
2. As per S&GAD’s policy circular dated 04.06.2020, the concerned Secretary of the department must personally attend Pre-PSB meeting, so as to make the Pre-PSB exercise more meaningful with the view to ensure that due diligence has been done on the cases to be placed before the Board for proper assistance of the Board.
3. I am further directed to request to kindly attend the meeting on the aforementioned date and time.
