SUBJECT:             LAUNCH OF HONHAAR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM-ESTABLISHMENT OF HONHAAR UNIT, REINSTATEMENT OF KIOSKS AND VERIFICATION OF STUDENTS (3^rd – 8^th Semester of BS and 2^nd to 5^th Year MBBS /BPS)

Dear Sir/Madam,

            Reference to subject captioned above. I am Pleased to inform that Government of the Punjab through Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has expanded the scope of Honhaar Scholarship Program to include students in 3^rd to 8^th semesters of selected BS programs at public sector universities r colleges and 2^nd to 5^th year MBBS/BDS students at public sector medical and dental colleges The application submission process has been stoned and portal is now live.

2          In this backdrop, Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) requests your cooperation to ensure the successful implementation of the program Therefore, you are kindly requested to ensure your cooperation in the following key areas.

i.          Establishment of dedicated Honhaar Units on campus to oversee Honhaar related activities.

ii.         Setup or reinstate dedicated Kiosks on campus to facilitate students in applying for the scholarships

iii.       Provide requisite guidance to students regarding application process and required documentation

iv.        Disseminate information about the scholarship program through all available channels, including emails websites, notice boards, and social media platforms.

3.                     Moreover, it is pertinent to mention that there will be no opportunity for resubmission of applications once they are submitted Therefore, it is imperative that all information is verified accurately before final submission for which Focal Person(s) of the Institution may be directed accordingly.
