Subject: STANDARDIZED TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR APPOINTMENT ACROSS THE BOARD IN THE PUNJAB
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to inform that consequent upon amendment in the Punjab Civil Servants Act 1974 through Punjab Civil Servants (Amendment) Act 2024, the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS) has been made pad of Sections 12, 18 read with Section 18-A of the Act ibid (copy enclosed). It is, therefore, requested that the following should be made part of the offer of appointment letters as part of terms and conditions:-
“You shall take part in the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS) under Sections 12, 18 read with Section 18-A of the Punjab Civil Servants Act and the manner prescribed by the Finance Department from time to time.”
