Punjab Government Orders PSER Sites to Remain Open During Holidays–Official Notification

Local Governments in Punjab: PSER Services to Stay Operational on Sundays & Holidays:

To ensure uninterrupted public services, the Punjab Government has directed all PSER sites operating under the Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Department to remain open during Sundays and other holidays until 15th February 2025. This step has been taken to facilitate the public, ensuring they can access necessary services without any delays caused by non-working days.

The notification issued by the Directorate General Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Punjab instructs all Chief Officers, Assistant Directors, Deputy Directors, and other relevant officials to comply with this directive. The Competent Authority has emphasized that Union Council offices and Municipal Corporation sites must stay operational, allowing citizens to complete their essential tasks efficiently.

Subject :-       WORKING OF PSER ACTIVITIES DURING HOLIDAYS.

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to inform that Competent Authority has been pleased to direct that all PSER sites in Union Councils and MC offices shall remain open and functional during holidays i.e Sunday or other Holidays till 15th February, 2025 for public facilitation.
