Punjab Govt Announces Early Salary & Pension Disbursement for Christian Govt Employees on Easter 2025:

In a compassionate move ahead of the Christian religious festival Easter, the Government of the Punjab has announced early disbursement of pay, allowances, and pensions for the month of April 2025 to all Christian government employees and pensioners across the province. According to a recent government notification issued by the Punjab Finance Department, this disbursement will take place on 16^th April 2025.

This decision, approved by the Governor of Punjab, has been made under relaxation of Punjab Financial Rules and reflects the provincial government’s commitment to recognizing and supporting the religious needs of minority communities. The Accountant General Punjab and all District Accounts Officers have been instructed to ensure timely processing and payment by the said date.

SUBJECT:             DISBURSEMENT OF PAY AND ALLOWANCES/PENSION FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL, 2025, IN ADVANCE ON ACCOUNT OF EASTER TO CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS.

In relaxation of Rules 5.1(2)(f) & 5.2(3) of the Punjab Financial Rules, Volume-1, Governor of the Punjab is pleased to approve the disbursement of Pay & Allowances and Pension for the Month of April, 2025, in advance to Christian Community Government employees and pensioners on 16^th April, 2025, on account of Easter.

2.                           Foregoing, in view, you are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for disbursement of pay & allowances and pension on 16th April, 2025 positively.
