Transparency in Recruitment: Punjab Higher Education Department Reschedules Grievance Meeting:

The Government of Punjab’s Higher Education Department continues its efforts to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process for Principal positions in Sargodha and Rawalpindi Divisions. Through the notification dated December 31, 2024, the department has communicated the postponement of the previously scheduled Grievance Redressal Committee meeting. This decision, approved by the Special Secretary/Chairman of the Grievance Redressal Committee, underscores the department’s commitment to addressing the grievances of applicants effectively and comprehensively. By rescheduling the meeting to a future date, the department ensures that all necessary preparations and considerations are in place to facilitate a productive and equitable grievance resolution process. Subject :-       REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCE FOR THE POSTS OF APPLICATIONS (MALE/FEMALE), SARGODHA & RAWALPINDI DIVISIONS.

      The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that, on the recommendations of Pay and Pension Commission-2020, it has been decided that henceforth, in an event where a person becomes entitled to more than one pensions, such person shall only be authorized to opt to draw one of the pensions, provided that;

  1. Where an in-service Federal Government employee becomes entitled to a pension, such Federal Government employee shall not be eligible to receive such pension.
  2. The in-service/pensioner spouse shall be eligible for pension of his/her spouse in addition to his/her own pay/pension.

2.   Existing instructions on the subject shall stand amended to the extent of above with immediate effect.
