Punjab Police Announces Recruitment of Constables & Lady Constables–Official Notification

Punjab Police Recruitment 2025 – Important Guidelines Issued:

The Punjab Police has issued a new official notification regarding the ongoing recruitment of Constables and Lady Constables across the province. As per the latest directive from the Inspector General of Police, Punjab, the recruitment process has been updated to ensure transparency and efficiency.

According to the notification, the Police Executive Board (PEB) has approved the following key changes:

• The Endurance Test will be conducted first, followed by the Physical Measurement Test.
• In cases where a Chairman of the Recruitment Board is assigned to two districts, they must complete the tests in one district before moving to the second.

These instructions must be strictly implemented across all recruitment centers in Punjab. All Capital City Police Officers, City Police Officers, and District Police Officers are required to comply with these changes immediately. Please find the official notification below:

Memo:

In continuation of this office memo No. AD/E-III/1563-96/XV,(Rect.25), dated 13.02.2025 it is clarified that:

1. As approved by the Police Executive Board (PEB), the endurance test will be conducted first and thereafter physical measurement will be carried out during the ongoing recruitment.
2. In a few cases one Chairman Recruitment Board has been nominated for two districts. The such Chairmen are advised to complete endurance test & physical measurement in one district and subsequently endurance test and physical measurement may be conducted in the second district.
