Need Assessment for School Teacher Interns (STIs) Program Launched Across Sahiwal:
The District Education Authority, Sahiwal, has issued a notification (No. 1379/RDE) dated 17th January 2025, regarding the upcoming launch of the School Teacher Interns (STIs) program by the School Education Department across Punjab. The notification outlines the need for assessing and reporting the required demand for STIs across Primary, Elementary, High, and Higher Secondary Schools in the district.
This initiative aims to address teacher shortages and ensure that schools maintain the necessary Student-Teacher Ratio (STR) for an optimal learning environment. The officers are instructed to submit the demand data post-wise, subject-wise, and school-wise on the provided proforma in both hard and soft copies. Apropos to the subject
2. School Education Department is going to launch School Teacher Inters (STIs) program throughout Punjab. These STIs will be engaged in Primary, Elementary. High and Higher Secondary Schools in Punjab.
3. You are hereby directed to submit, post wise, demand of STls required in your wing after consultation with Head, two members of SMC and the concerned Deputy DEO, keeping in view STR criteria. Submit the same in hard & soft form on 18-01-2025 upto 1:00PM on the proforma given below.
