Punjab Declares April 2025 as “Good Touch Bad Touch” Awareness Month in Schools:

The Punjab School Education Department has declared April 2025 as “Good Touch Bad Touch” Awareness Month across all public schools in the province. This initiative aims to educate children about personal safety, empower them to recognize inappropriate behavior, and create a safe and supportive environment for students.

The campaign will include awareness sessions and an art competition, encouraging students, teachers, and parents to actively participate. Schools will conduct lectures, skits, and interactive workshops to help children differentiate between safe and unsafe touches. Additionally, students will get a chance to express their thoughts through artwork, with winning entries being displayed in schools and art galleries.

This initiative is a collaborative effort involving teachers, parents, and community members to promote child safety awareness. All schools are directed to ensure full participation and submit weekly reports with pictorial evidence.

2.                           I am directed to state that the Competent Authority has declared the theme of the month as “GOOD TOUCH BAD TOUCH” to celebrate this theme we f 02.04.2025 to 15 04 2025 following activities and events in public schools across Punjab shall be arranged by involving parents, teachers and community members, promoting a collaborative effort to arrange and organize it in a befitting manner.
