Unresolved Since 2012: Balochistan’s SST Time Scale Revision Under Review:
The Government of Balochistan’s School Education Department has formally requested the Finance Department’s intervention regarding the revision of time scale incentives for Senior School Teachers (SSTs) in BPS-16. This long-standing issue has persisted since 2012, despite the upgradation of the SST cadre. The department has pointed out that while structural improvements have been made to the cadre, the corresponding financial benefits, particularly in the form of time scale incentives, have yet to be implemented. This delay has caused widespread dissatisfaction among the affected employees, impacting their morale and efficiency. Subject :- REVISION OF INCENTIVES OF HIGHER GRADE ON BASES OF TIME SCALE.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that, with reference to the application submitted along with enclosures regarding the revision of time scale incentives for SST (BPS-16) posts, it is brought to your kind attention that the issue of their upgradation has remained unresolved since 2012.
The School Education Department has highlighted that despite the upgradation of the SST cadre, the corresponding time scale incentives have not been implemented, causing prolonged unrest among the concerned employees.
In light of this, the department has requested immediate attention to revise the time scale structure for SSTs and bring it in line with the upgraded nomenclature and service rules. They have proposed a structure for consideration and approval, which is essential to address this long-standing issue.
It is therefore, requested to evaluate the proposed time scale structure and provide your approval or necessary guidance at the earliest. This revision will ensure equity and fairness within the department, improving morale and efficiency among the SST cadre.
