Sindh Govt Announces Holiday for Colleges on Shab-e-Qadr:

The Government of Sindh has officially announced a holiday for all public and private colleges under the College Education Department on Friday, March 28, 2025, in observance of Shab-e-Qadr (27^th Ramzan 1446 Hijri).

This decision was made during a Sub-Committee meeting of the Steering Committee on Education, held on November 28, 2024. As a result, students, teachers, and staff in Sindh will get a day off to mark this significant religious occasion.

Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, is one of the holiest nights in Islam. It is believed that on this night, the first verses of the Holy Quran were revealed, making it a time of prayers, supplications, and spiritual reflection for Muslims worldwide.

NO:SO(A&T-1) Steering Comtt:/9-1/2018:   In pursuance of the decision taken in the meeting of Sub-Committee of Steering Committee on Education held on 28^th November 2024, all Public and Private Educational Institutions under the Administrative Control of College Education Department, Government of Sindh shall remain closed on Friday, 28th March 2025 on account of Shab-e-Qadar (27^th Ramzan) 1446.
