Sindh Cabinet Approves 5-Year Age Relaxation for Government Job Applicants:

The Government of Sindh has officially announced a 5-year upper age limit relaxation for candidates applying for government jobs across all departments. According to the latest official notification, this relaxation will be applicable from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2026.

This decision, approved by the Provincial Cabinet, aims to provide greater employment opportunities for job seekers in Sindh. However, it is important to note that this relaxation does not apply to:
🔹 Police Service positions
🔹 Posts filled through the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) by the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC)

No.SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011^(Part-II): The Government of Sindh (Provincial Cabinet), has been pleased to allow relaxation of upto five (05) years in the upper age limit beyond the maximum age limit, as prescribed in the method of appointment and/or recruitment rules for the post, to all applicants across all the departments (except the Police Service and the posts filled through the Combined Competitive Examination by the Sindh Public Service Commission) for initial period of two (02) years, with effect from 1^st January, 2025 upto 31^st December, 2026.
