Sindh Govt Summons Local Councils for Urgent Meeting on Pending Court Cases:

The Government of Sindh has issued a crucial government notification regarding pending court cases involving local councils. According to the notification dated 18th February 2025, an urgent meeting has been scheduled for Monday, 24th February 2025, at 2:00 PM under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary, Local Government & HTP Department. The meeting will take place in the committee room of the Local Government & HTP Department, Sindh Secretariat, Karachi.

The notification directs the Regional Director, Local Government, Sukkur, to ensure the presence of key officials, including MCs, COs, CMOs, and TOs of the relevant local councils. The main agenda of this meeting is to review court cases related to pensions, salary arrears, and other legal matters affecting local government employees.
