Sindh Local Government Board Issues Circular for Engineering Cadre Officers–Compliance Required–Official Notification

Attention Engineers! Submit Your PEC Registration & Practice Certificate Issued:

The Sindh Local Government Board (SLGB) has issued an important circular for all SCUG officers of the Engineering Cadre. As per the directives of the Minister for Local Government, Housing & Town Planning (LGH&TP) Department, all concerned officers are required to submit a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Registration Certificate along with a PEC Practice Certificate for the current year.

This directive comes in compliance with Supreme Court orders (C.P. No. 78-K of 2015), making it mandatory for all relevant officers to submit their documents within 15 days of the circular’s issuance. Failure to comply may lead to disciplinary action as per the applicable rules.

All SCUG Engineering Cadre officers are advised to attest their PEC Registration Certificate from the head of their respective department before submission. For the complete official notification, refer to the details below:

CIRCULAR:-

The Competent Authority i.e. Worthy Minister Local Government Housing and Town Planning Department (LGH&TP), in compliance of Supreme Court of Pakistan Orders in C.P.No.78-K of 2015, is pleased to pass directions for all the SCUG officers of Engineering Cadre to submit to this office a copy of valid PEC Registration Certificate along with PEC Practice Certificate for current year.

Foregoing in view, it is directed that a copy of valid PEC Registration Certificate (duly attested from the administrative head of department of your current posting), along with PEC Practice Certificate for current year, be submitted to this office within 15 days of issuance of this circular. Failing to which, disciplinary action under relevant rules maybe initiated against you.
