IGP Sindh Issues Directive for Departmental Promotion Committee Meeting:
The effective management and progression of police personnel are pivotal to ensuring the smooth functioning of law enforcement and enhancing the operational efficiency of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). In this regard, the Police Department of Sindh has scheduled a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) Meeting to discuss matters related to the encadrement and appointment of police officers from the province and the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police into the PSP. The meeting is a critical platform for evaluating the service records and professional achievements of eligible officers, reflecting the department’s commitment to maintaining high standards of leadership and operational excellence within the police force.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, through the DIGP Establishment, has issued a formal communication inviting senior police officers to participate in this important discussion. Officers are required to attend the meeting scheduled for January 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM, ensuring the submission of detailed Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs), including Part-I and Part-II, fully completed and up-to-date. The inclusion of officers from various roles and regions within the police force underlines the importance of an inclusive and transparent process for career progression.
