Sub: Review of House Acquisition Policy
The Authority in Its meeting held on 22.02.2024 has accorded approval for relaxation /updation of following preconditions for acquisition of a residential accommodation:
a. Relaxation in covered area requirement as follows:

• (Note: The above relaxation of covered area Is applicable to already acquired houses with immediate effect and no further relaxation in covered area will be allowed)
b. Houses with shared approach shall be assessed.
c. Joint family houses shall be assessed.
d. The condition of servant quarter requirement with toilet for BPS 19 is waived off.
e. Registration of Rent Deed (except self-hiring) with local police station shall be mandatory.
This Office Order bearing No. D(S&E)/AD(Estates)/060280/43516-44816 dated 06.10.2003 on the subject stands modified to the above extent.
