Sub:- Revision of Probation Clause in WAPDA Service Rules
1 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Authority in its meeting held on 10.07.2024 (minutes circulated vide Secretary WAPDA letter No.S/AD(Coord)03003/MTG/1745-46 dated 18.07.2024) has been pleased to accord approval of following:-
a. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Probation period shall be treated as minimum one year and can be extended upto maximum of two years. In case of extension, place of duty shall be changed.
b. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â During probation period, services of an employee can be terminated at any time.
c. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The probation period will not be regularized automatically after two years and approval of Chairman will be required for regularization.
d.        Once the services of an employee are regularized at any stage, he / she shall be considered as regular from the date of his / her initial appointment.
2 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â These amendments to be incorporated in all Service Rules (BPS 1-20) w.e.f 18.07.2024.
