Balochistan Government Enforces Section 144 for Smooth Conduct of Matric Exams:
To ensure a fair and transparent examination process, the Government of Balochistan has decided to impose Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), 1898, across the province during the Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations 2025. The exams, conducted by the Balochistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta, are scheduled to commence from February 11, 2025.
This decision was taken in a high-level meeting held on January 29, 2025, where authorities expressed concerns about external interference, cheating practices, and security risks at examination centers. To counter these challenges, the following restrictions have been put in place:
✅ No gatherings within a 100-yard radius of exam centers
✅ All photocopy shops within a 1-kilometer radius to remain closed during exam hours
✅ Strict ban on mobile phone usage inside examination centers
These preventive measures are aimed at ensuring a cheating-free and peaceful exam environment for students. Please find the notification below:

ORDER
No.SO(Judl:)8(31)/2025/226-86 WHEREAS, it has been made to appear to the Government of Balochistan that Balochistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta is conducting Matriculation/SSC Examination which is scheduled to be commenced from 11th February, 2025, there is likelihood that outsiders may interfere in the smooth and peaceful conduct of examination by indulging in providing opportunity of cheating to candidates which may disturb the peace and tranquility of area/examination centres.
2. AND WHEREAS, in the light of decision made in a meeting held on 29th January, 2025, it is necessary to impose 144 Cr.PC across the Province during the examination process for peaceful conduct of examination.
3. NOW THEREFORE, the Government of Balochistan in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (6) of Section 144 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 is pleased to impose ban on following practices, with immediate effect till end of Secondary School Examination, 2025 :-
i. Gathering of people (other Than examination candidates) around all examination centers in the province within the 100 yards radius.
ii. Opening of All Photocopier/Photostat shops within one Kilometer radius of examination centers should be temporarily closed during paper hours.
iii. Use of Mobile phone at the examination centers should be strictly prohibited.
