BISE Lahore Directs Teachers to Ensure Strict Compliance with Exam Duties:

The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, has issued a strict directive to teachers and educational staff regarding the upcoming Secondary School Certificate (SSC) First Annual Examination 2025, set to commence on March 4, 2025. The board has emphasized the mandatory nature of assigned supervisory duties, warning that any refusal to comply will result in strict disciplinary action under the Punjab Essential Service Rules, 1958.

The notification, issued to directors of education, chief executive officers of district education authorities, and deputy directors of colleges across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib, underscores the importance of cooperation from the Higher Education and School Education Departments in ensuring smooth exam conduction. To prepare for this, BISE Lahore has organized training workshops for Distributing Inspectors, Superintendents, and Deputy Superintendents, who will receive official appointment letters.

With examinations being a crucial academic milestone, teachers and officials must take their assigned responsibilities seriously to maintain fair and transparent examination standards. Please find the official notification below:

SUBJECT:            STRICT COMPLIANCE OF THE ASSIGNED SUPERVISORY DUTIES BY THE BISE, LAHORE FOR SSC (FIRST ANNUAL) EXAMINATION, 2025

This refers to our earlier communications on the subject noted above.

                        Under the auspices of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, the Secondary School Certificate (1^st Annual) Examination, 2025, is going to commence w.e.f. March 04, 2025 within its territorial jurisdiction. No doubt, the conduct of BISE examinations cannot be made effective without the meticulous cooperation from the Higher Education Department and the School Education Department.

2.                     It is apprised that this office has organized training workshops for supervisory staff appointed by BISE i.e. Distributing Inspectors, Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents for the SSC (1^st Annual) Examination, 2025 (copy enclosed), all of whom will be issued appointment letters. Since the Punjab Essential Service Rules, 1958, impose obligations on all worthy teachers, no one will be allowed to refuse their allotted BISE examination responsibilities under any circumstances.

3.                     I am, therefore, directed by the worthy Secretary, Higher Education Department / Chairman PBCC and worthy Commissioner, Lahore Division / Chairman, BISE, Lahore to request all the worthy officers kindly to transmit the above intimation to each and every school and college working under your jurisdiction for meticulous compliance by taking their duty orders for the performance of supervisory role assigned by BISE, Lahore. In case of non-compliance, very strict action shall be taken / recommended against the delinquent officers/teachers.
