No. DD(M)/Dengue/2024 GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJABSCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT(MONITORING WING) Dated Lahore the 12th August, 2024 SUBJECT:      SPECIAL CLEANLINESS BEFORE SCHOOLS REOPENING AFTER SUMMER VACATION  As you are well aware, summer vacation will conclude on August 14, 2024. The Authority has directed to ensure that schools must be clean and to following anti-dengue SOPs must be implemented before the schools reopen: • Cleanliness (premises, toilets, water tanks, etc.) • Inspections of roof tops • Removal of stagnant water • Grass cutting from lawns/grounds • Removal of junks/debris • Plugging of water leakages • Maintenance of vector free environment • Display of anti-dengue awareness charts, posters banners etc. 2.    It is also Important that dengue prevention required collective effort and continuous vigilance to protect the health and safety of students and staff. Therefore, instruct all DE0s, Dy. DE0s, AEOs, heads of schools, and anti-dengue focal persons to strictly follow the above said directions. Furthermore, snaps of anti-dengue activities should be uploaded at the dengue dashboard. Director (Monitoring)
