Normal Office Timings Resume After Ramadan 2025 – Official Government Update:
As the holy month of Ramzan 1446 AH comes to a close, the Government of Pakistan has officially announced the resumption of normal office timings for all federal departments and ministries. According to a recent government notification issued by the Establishment Division, the revised schedule takes immediate effect starting April 3, 2025.
Offices operating on a 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday) will now observe duty hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, while those on a 6-day schedule (Monday to Saturday) will operate from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a lunch/prayer break from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
These updates apply across all federal institutions, and public sector employees are expected to adhere strictly to the revised schedule.
