2. The TORs of the Committee shall be as under:-
- To ensure implementation of Austerity Measures and periodically review the measures;
- Invite proposals from Principal Accounting Officers (PAOs) for curtailing expenditures;
- Issue further directions to PAOs for rationalization of expenditure from time to time; and.
- Approve proposals for relaxation of the Austerity Measures, where absolutely necessary.
