FESCO Finalizes Hardship Allowance 2025 – Rs. 518 Million Allocated:
The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has officially confirmed the budget for the Hardship Allowance 2025, amounting to Rs. 518 million. This allowance, equal to one-month basic pay as of February 28, 2025, will be provided to all FESCO employees, including those on regular, contract, deputation, daily wages, and consultancy roles, as well as officers hired on lump sum pay packages.
The financial assessment was conducted following a request from FESCO’s Administration Directorate, as referenced in their letter dated March 20, 2025. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of FESCO has confirmed that the required budget is available under the FY 2024-25 allocation, ensuring smooth disbursement upon final approval by the Board of Directors (BOD).
This initiative is a crucial step in recognizing the dedication and hard work of FESCO employees, particularly in challenging working conditions. The final approval process is expected to proceed soon, ensuring timely financial relief for eligible employees.
