Rescue 1122, Punjab’s premier emergency services department, is inviting applications from motivated and eligible individuals for various positions at its Headquarters, Academy, and district offices across Punjab. These positions include roles such as Physical Instructor, Drill & Physical Instructor, Auto Technician, Computer/IT Technician, PA/Stenographer, Audio/Video Operator, Electrical Technician, Tubewell & Pool Technician, Security Supervisor, Sanitary Supervisor, Plumber, Painter, Carpenter, Mason, Accountant, Wireless Technician, Store Keeper, Emergency Medical Technician, Junior Store Keeper, and Rescue Driver (LTV). Candidates must meet the required qualifications, physical standards, and medical criteria. Special quotas are reserved for minorities (5%), females (15%), and shemales are encouraged to apply. Local residents as per CNIC will be given preference, and strict eligibility requirements, including vision, fitness, and height standards, apply. Applications must be submitted by 27 January 2025. Terms & Conditions:
- Medical Requirements: Candidates with vision less than 6/6 (without glasses), color blindness, obesity (BMI 30 or above), or positive test results for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR shall be disqualified at any stage.
- One Post Only: Applicants should apply for only one suitable post. However, appropriate candidates may be adjusted against other suitable posts upon the Recruitment Committee’s recommendation.
- Age & Qualification: No age or qualification relaxation will be granted (Army/Civil). However, employees of the Emergency Services Department will receive a 5-year age relaxation for administrative posts.
- Physical Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates with a height above 5’6″ and a chest size of 33″ (minimum).
- Local Preference: Local residents (as per CNIC) will be given priority.
- Quotas Reserved:
- 5% quota for minorities
- 15% quota for females
- Shemales are also encouraged to apply.
- Large Applicant Pool: In case of a large number of applicants, only those meeting preferred/enhanced criteria will be considered.
Verification: Candidates must justify eligibility as per the advertised criteria. All documents will be accepted provisionally. Final appointment is subject to document verification, police clearance, successful training, and medical board clearance by the Government of Punjab.
