KPK Schools: Large-Scale Endline Assessment 2025 Rescheduled – Important Update:
The Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education (DCTE) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially announced the revised dates for the Large-Scale Sample-Based Endline Assessment Cycle-II. This assessment, which is crucial for evaluating student and teacher performance, was initially planned for March 11-13, 2025, but due to administrative adjustments, it has now been rescheduled to March 17-19, 2025.
The assessment will cover students of Grade 2, 5, and 8, focusing on subjects like English, General Science, Mathematics, and Urdu. Additionally, teachers will be evaluated through Teacher Content Knowledge (TCK) and Teacher Competency Survey (TCS).
A total of 1,000 Middle, High, and Higher Secondary Schools and 1,200 Primary Schools will be assessed under the HCIP Sample, while 73 Middle Schools and 181 Primary Schools will be covered under the ASPIRE Sample. The collected data is essential to ensure consistency with the Baseline Assessment of 2024 and to enhance the quality of education across the province.

SUBJECT: CONDUCT OF LARGE-SCALE SAMPLE BASED ENDLINE ASSESSMENT CYCLE-II
I am directed to refer to this Directorate meeting minutes issued on dated: 02-02-2025 and letter No 731-734/A&E/DCTE/2025 dated: 18-02-2025 on the above subject. The Cycle -II Large-Scale Sample based Endline Assessment includes the following:
- Students – Grade-2. 5 & 8 (English, G-Science, Math and Urdu).
- Teacher – Teacher Content Knowledge (TCK), Teacher Competency Survey (TCS)
2. The collection of data for this Endline Assessment from the field is mandatory to be ensured at the closure of academic year as it has technical relevance with Baseline Assessment data collected in 2024.
3. The assessment activity was earlier planned for 11-13 March, 2025, which is now rescheduled for 17-19 March, 2025.
