KPK Education Department Issues Notification for Ministerial Cadre Transfers:
The Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has issued an official notification regarding the posting and transfer of ministerial staff from BPS-11 to BPS-17 under the two-year tenure policy of the provincial government. This directive applies to all District Education Officers (Male/Female) across KPK and requires urgent submission of transfer proposals.
To ensure a smooth transition and effective implementation, officials have been instructed to submit proposals for ministerial cadre transfers in two categories:
- BPS-11 to BPS-15: Transfers within the district, including office-to-school and school-to-office movements.
- BPS-16 to BPS-17: Transfers requiring approval from the administrative department.
The submission deadline is 12th March 2025, and officials must provide details in the prescribed format via WhatsApp and email.
This move aims to streamline administrative processes, improve workplace efficiency, and align with the KPK government’s tenure policy. Notification Describes;

SUBJECT: SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL REGARDING POSTING/TRANSFER OF MINISTERIAL CADRE FROM BPS-11 TO BPS 17.
Memo:-
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that in order to implement the two years tenure policy of provincial Govt, the posting/transfer proposal in respect of ministerial cadre working in your respective jurisdiction are urgently required to this office.
In this regard you are directed to:
1. Prepare and submit proposal of ministerial cadre from BPS-11 to BPS-15 prior to the issuance of transfer/posting orders within your jurisdiction which should encompass transfers from office to school and vice versa.
2. Prepare and submit proposal detailing the transfer/posting of ministerial cadre from BPS-16 to BPS-17 for onward submission to the administrative department.
Therefore, you are directed to submit the aforementioned proposals by today, 12th March 2025 on below format.
