Pakistan Railways Announces 20% Discount on Train Fares for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025!

In a great relief for travelers, Pakistan Railways has announced a 20% discount on train fares for all Mail, Express, Passenger, and Intercity trains on the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd days of Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. The decision aims to facilitate passengers during the festive season, making travel more affordable for thousands across the country.

This special Eid-ul-Fitr discount will be applicable only for current booking and will not be valid for Eid Special Trains. Additionally, passengers will not be able to avail multiple discounts at the same time, such as student or scout fare reductions.

All booking and reservation offices at railway stations have been directed to strictly implement this discount policy. Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of this limited-time offer to enjoy a comfortable and budget-friendly journey during Eid. Please find the notification:

Subject:               20% CONCESSION IN FARES OF ALL MAIL & EXPRESS, PASSENGER & INTERCITY TRAINS IN ALL CLASSES ON 1 2D & 3D DAY OF EID-UL-FITR 2025

The competent authority has been pleased to grant 20% concession in fares of all Mail & Express, Intercity & Passenger Trains in all classes (managed by P.R only), on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr for the facilitation of passengers. This concession will be allowed or CURRENT BOOKING only on 1^st 2^nd & 3^rd days of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Kindly note these instructions for strict compliance:

1. Concessional fare shall not be less than the minimum fares & rounding off must be ensured.
2. No person or party will be allowed to avail two or more concessions at one time e.g. boy scouts claiming the usual concession of an air-conditioned or firs-class ticket on payment of half fares under a concession order.
3. Concessional fares shall not be applicable to the Eid Special trains.

It is requested that the above instructions may be repeated to all booking and reservation office at stations to ensure compliance accordingly. It is further Intimated that if any discrepancy noticed, the same should be corrected immediately and be reported immediately to the office of CMM, CCM and Director/IT.
