Salary Boost Alert: PESCO Increases Pay Package for Contract Staff:
In a major relief for its workforce, the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has officially approved a 6% increase in the initial pay of all employees (officers and officials) working under the lump sum pay package system. This significant step was decided during the 215th meeting of the PESCO Board of Directors, held on March 25, 2025, and has now been implemented with effect from July 1, 2024.
This pay enhancement comes as welcome news for contract employees who have long awaited a revision in their salary structure. As per the latest Government Notification, the increment is based on the initial pay of the respective pay scale, and the change has been formally authorized by the Chief Executive Officer of PESCO.
Employees across departments are advised to stay updated with these changes as the new pay structure will impact their monthly salary starting from July 2024. Please find notification:

In pursuance of approval of Board of Directors PESCO made in its 215th meeting held on 25.03.2025, conveyed by Company Secretary PESCO vide No. 648-649/215th BoD dated 11.04.2025, an increase in pay package to the employees (officers & officials) working on lump sum pay package is hereby allowed @ 6% of initial pay of the relevant pay scale w.e.f 01.07.2024.
