Deadline for Educational Scholarship Applications for Punjab Government Servants’ Children:
The Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund has announced the final deadline for the submission of applications for educational scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. According to the reminder issued on March 17, 2025, the submission window for serving, retired, deceased, and invalidated retired Punjab government servants will close on March 31, 2025. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to the children of Punjab government employees to support their education.
It is crucial for all relevant offices and departments to ensure that the prescribed application forms are submitted along with the necessary attested documents before the cutoff date to facilitate the processing of scholarship grants. This opportunity is available for employees in Grade 1 to Grade 16, including Gazetted and Non-Gazetted employees, with specific submission offices designated for each category. Subject: GRANT OF EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE YEAR 2024-2025 TO THE CHILDREN OF PUNJAB GOVERNMENT SERVANTS OUT OF BENEVOLENT FUND W.E.F 01.01.2025 TO 31.03.2025.
I am directed to refer to letter of this office bearing even number dated 27.12.2024, 15.01.2025, 10.02.2025 and 10.03.2025 on the subject cited above and to re-iterate that date for the submission of prescribed application forms for Educational Scholarships to the children of serving / retired / deceased / invalidated retired Punjab Government Servants for the year 2024-2025 has been fixed from 01.01.2025 to 31.03.2025.
2. It is once again requested that all the offices under your administrative control may be apprised of the matter and they may be directed to ensure that application forms, complete in all respects, along with attested copies of relevant documents must reach the concerned Benevolent Fund Board Offices prior to cut off date i.e. 31.03.2025, without fail.
3. It is further re-iterated as well as clarified that cut off date means the final date to reach all the application forms of Educational Scholarship Grant in the concerned Benevolent Fund Boards offices as detailed below:-

The requisite documents of the above said officers must be submitted to this Directorate within Fifteen Days positively to proceed further in the matter.
