Punjab Government Sets New Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for School Education:
The Government of Punjab, School Education Department, has officially announced a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the current academic year. These indicators aim to measure and enhance the performance of schools, districts, and attached departments to ensure the effective implementation of the government’s education policies.
The KPIs have been approved by the Competent Authority and will be implemented across all educational institutions, autonomous bodies, and administrative units under the School Education Department. This initiative is a strategic step toward improving school performance, student learning outcomes, teacher efficiency, and resource management.
All Deputy Commissioners, Additional Secretaries, Chief Executive Officers of education authorities, and other key stakeholders in Punjab are required to take immediate action to align their strategies with the new performance benchmarks. These KPIs will provide a clear framework for monitoring progress and ensuring accountability in the Punjab education sector.
By implementing these education KPIs, the Punjab government aims to enhance school efficiency, improve student success rates, and ensure better administrative oversight. Please find the notification:
