School Education & Literacy Department Extends Age Limit for Recruitment:
The Government of Sindh’s School Education & Literacy Department has announced an important update regarding the relaxation of the upper age limit for candidates applying for posts within the department. In continuation of its earlier circular dated January 20, 2025, this new circular highlights the provisions outlined in the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. These rules, notified by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (Regulation Wing), allow for a two-year relaxation in the maximum upper age limit prescribed for recruitment to advertised posts. This development aims to provide greater opportunities to aspirant candidates who may have previously been ineligible due to age constraints. Candidates are encouraged to take advantage of this provision by submitting their applications to the Section Officer (GA) of the School Education & Literacy Department. However, it is imperative to note that the deadline for submitting such applications is January 29, 2025. CIRCULAR
No.SO(GA)/SE&LD/AGE-RELAXATION/2025: In continuation of this department’s circular dated 20.01.2025 it is for the information of all the concerned that the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (Regulation Wing), Government of Sindh has notified the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024, dated 16th October, 2024, whereby maximum upper age limit as prescribed in method of appointment and / or recruitment rules of the posts advertised by School Education & Literacy Department shall be relaxed in respect of aspirant candidates upto two (02) years by the Committee notified by SGA&CD.
Therefore, all the aspirant candidates are hereby advised to submit their applications to Section Officer (GA), School Education & Literacy Department for relaxation in upper age limit upto two years within one week (by 29.01.2025) after that no application shall be considered for age relaxation.
