Sindh Govt Announces Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays – Official Notification Issued:
The Government of Sindh has officially declared March 31 to April 2, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday) as public holidays on account of Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 (1st Shawwal 1446 Hijri). The notification, issued by the Labour & Human Resources Department, confirms that these holidays will be observed by all workers across Sindh.
This announcement comes in accordance with Sindh Factories Act, 2015, ensuring that workers in factories, industries, and other establishments get time off to celebrate Eid with their families. Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the most significant Islamic festivals, marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan and is celebrated with prayers, feasting, and festivities across Pakistan. No. SO(L-II)/H-29/2011-1: In pursuance of Services, General Administration & Department, Government of Sindh, vide Notification No. SO(CTC)(SGA&CD)3(27)/2009, dated: 21.03.2025 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section 80 (1) of the Sindh Factories Act, 2015, the Government of Sindh is pleased to declare 31st March to 02nd April, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday) as Public Holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr-2025 (1st Shawal 1446 A.H). It shall be observed by all the workers in the Province of Sindh.
