Sindh Health Authorities Demand Reports on COVID-19 Staff Verification:

The ongoing global challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic have demanded an unparalleled level of vigilance and accountability in health administration. In this regard, the Directorate General of Health Services Sindh has consistently emphasized the importance of ensuring that resources are effectively deployed and managed to meet the needs of communities. As part of these efforts, the department has issued an urgent reminder to District Health Officers across Sindh to complete the Physical Verification Plan for COVID-19 staff, ensuring transparency and efficiency in managing personnel tasked with pandemic-related responsibilities. This initiative aims to assess the performance and compliance of COVID-19 employees, including Data Entry Operators, Skilled Personnel, and Supporting Human Resources, employed on a services-rendered basis at Rs. 600 per day.

The directive underscores the need for detailed reports on the employees’ place of posting, regularity, and punctuality. These reports are to be authenticated by the respective In-Charge or Medical Superintendent overseeing the health facilities. Such measures are pivotal in verifying the efficient utilization of human resources, safeguarding public funds, and ensuring that staff remains committed to their responsibilities during this critical time. With a deadline of 24 hours, the urgency of this matter reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of its health sector operations. Compliance with this directive is not only a legal obligation but also an ethical responsibility to ensure public health and safety.
