In such a case the rent may be increased upto the owner’s demand (indicated at the time of hiring) or the allottee/occupant’s revised rental ceiling whichever is less. iii)        Cases of houses hired under Rule 8(i) of the Accommodation Allocation Rules, 2002 or M/o Housing and Works’ O.M No. 2(3)/2003-Policy dated 31-07-2004 of which lease has expired. The lease agreement may be executed with the owner as per current rental assessment of the house or the occupant’s revised rental ceiling or the owner’s demand, whichever is the less. iv)        Cases of houses hired under Rule 9(i) of the Accommodation Allocation Rules, 2002 on self-hiring basis: In such a case, the existing rent of the house may be increased upto the revised rental ceiling of the allottee/occupant or the rental assessment of the house whichever is less. 3.                     The above rental ceilings may also be applied, mutatis-mutandis, in cases of requisitioned houses otherwise qualifying for increase in rent/compensation in accordance with the relevant rules/instructions. 4.                     In all other cases of hired houses except in cases where additions/alterations have been made with the prior permission of the Government, the benefit of revised rental ceiling will be permissible only on the expiry of the current lease agreement. 5.                     The existing instructions issued on the subject from time to time will remain in force with the above modifications. 6.                     All the Ministries/Divisions/Attached Department/Subordinate offices will meet the increased expenditure out of their respective budgetary allocations and no additional funds will be allowed to them for this purpose during the current financial year (2011-2012). 7.                     The issues with the concurrence of Finance Division vide their U.O No. 4(12)R-14/07/761/S/FS/2011, dated 29.9.2011 and Prime Minister’s Secretariat U.O No. F. 3343/PSPM/2011, dated 09.10.2011. GOVERNMENT OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWAFINANCE DEPARTMENT (REGULATION WING) Dated Peshawar the: 07-07-2021 NOTIFICATION No. FD(SOSR-II)2-5/2021-22 (Executive Allow) In supersession of this Department Notification No. FD(SOSR-II)8-7/2016-17 dated 02.02.2018 and Notification No. FD(SOSR­-II)8-7/2019, dated 25-07-2019, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to grant the Executive Allowance to all officers of PAS,PCS,PMS serving under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa irrespective of whether they are posted against scheduled posts or not, at the rate of 150% of Running Basic Pay per Month with effect from 01.07.2021. Furthermore, Executive Allowance at the rate of 150% of Running Basic Pay shall also be admissible to all officers posted against scheduled posts in the province irrespective of their service cadre. However, 20% of the difference between the running basic pay and the initial basic pay will be deducted as part of “pay as you go” pension contribution and shall be deposited under Object Head CO2241-Contribution of Pension & Gratuities in Provincial Account-I (Non-Food). 2.   The above allowance will be admissible subject to the following conditions: SECRETARY TO GOVT. GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJABFINANCE DEPARTMENT NO.FD.SR-111-4-136/2023                                                   Dated: Lahore, the 08th August, 2023 SUBJECT:     GRANT OF INCREASE IN PENSION TO CIVIL PENSIONERS OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB In continuation of this Department’s circular letter bearing even number dated 18-07-2023 on the subject noted above and to state that Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to sanction 17.5% increase in pension of retired government employees / civil pensioners w.e.f. 01.08. 2023. 2.                    The 5% increase in pension of retired government employees / civil pensioners upto 80 years of age and 20% increase to retired government employees / civil pensioners who are over 80 years of age on 01.07.2023 granted vide this Department’s circular letter referred to above are hereby withdrawn w.e.f. 01.08.2023. 3.                    The Para-3 of this Department’s circular letter referred to above is omitted. Moreover, the increase in the pension @17.5% shall not be admissible to those pensioners who retire on or after 01.08.2023. 4.                    All other terms & conditions mentioned in this Department’s circular letter bearing even number dated 18.07.2023 shall remain the same.
