As per the notification, universities and colleges will remain closed from March 29, 2025, to April 7, 2025 (both days inclusive). This decision has been taken to allow students and faculty members to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr and enjoy a well-deserved spring break. Punjab Government Announces Revised E-Transfer Schedule for Teachers–Official Notification

The Punjab School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) has officially released a revised schedule for the E-Transfer Round 2025. This schedule applies to teachers and officers awaiting posting or recently promoted. The Competent Authority has directed all Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of District Education Authorities (DEAs) to ensure that promoted teachers are tagged on the School Information System (SIS) before the transfer round begins. According to the notification, teachers can apply for transfers from April 7, 2025, to April 13, 2025. The process will include verification, objection handling, and final decisions by the Review Committee, with transfer orders set to be issued by May 1, 2025. Additionally, teachers engaged in SSC/HSSC Examination Duties 2025 must continue their responsibilities at their current postings. Non-compliance will lead to disciplinary action under PEEDA Act 2006. Similarly, awaiting posting teachers must apply through SIS, or their period will be treated as leave without pay. Teachers and officers are advised to follow the given schedule strictly and apply with multiple preferences to ensure smooth placements.
