Selection Process The selection of the candidates against the posts of DEOS and DDEOS shall be made on the basis of screening test, written assessment and interview by the Departmental Search Committee. 2.1 Screening Test A screening test of basic IT skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, email, and use of search engines shall be conducted in QAED IT labs for shortlisting of the candidates for the written assessment. 2.2 Written Assessment Shortlisted candidates shall be assessed through a written test to ascertain their communication and management skills as well as the understanding of the education sector, besides general attributes. Note: A candidate must obtain at least 50% marks in the written assessment to be eligible to appear before the Departmental Search Committee for interview/final selection. 2.3 Interview The Departmental Search Committee shall interview eligible/qualified candidates. The eligible candidates would be required to make a PowerPoint presentation about their past performance and suitability for the post to the Departmental Search Committee. 3.
