Balochistan High Court Extends Winter Vacations Due to Cold Wave:
The Balochistan High Court (BHC) has officially announced a one-week extension of winter vacations for Sessions Divisions in the Winter Zone due to the severe cold wave and lack of allied facilities. This extension is effective from February 2, 2023, to February 8, 2023, as per the latest notification issued by the Registrar of the High Court of Balochistan.
This decision follows a formal request from the legal fraternity, emphasizing the difficulties faced by court staff, lawyers, and litigants amid the extreme cold weather conditions. Previously, the court had issued Notification No. 6272-73/66-Eisil on December 3, 2022, regarding the initial winter break.
The extension aims to provide relief to judicial staff and legal professionals in areas affected by harsh weather conditions. The Balochistan High Court remains committed to ensuring smooth judicial proceedings while prioritizing the well-being of all stakeholders. Please find the official notification below:

NOTIFICATION
In continuation of this Court’s Notification No. 6272-73/66-Eisil: dated 03.12.2022 and upon the request of legal Fraternity in view of prevailing cold wave as well as non-availability of allied facilities, winter vacations for Sessions Divisions of Winter Zone are hereby extended for a period of one week w.e.f 02.02.2023 to 08.02.2023.
