      TOP PRIORITY GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJABSPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT Dated Lahore the 17th May. 2024 NOTIFICATION No.SO(SE)2-22/2020/64. The summer timings notified vide this department’s earlier notification of even number 09.04.2024 are hereby revised amid harsh weather conditions. Following timings will be observed in all Special Education Institutions w.e.f. 18th May, 2024 till 31stMay 2024 excluding colleges. Sr.No. Category Timing 1. Govt Special Education Centers. Schools except Hilly Areas Monday to Thursday 8 Saturday 07:30 am to 11:30 amFriday 07:30 am to 11:00 am 2. Govt. Special Education Centers, Schools (Hilly Areas) Monday to Thursday &Saturday 08:00 am to 12:00 pmFriday 08:00 am to 11:30 am 2.  All the concerned are directed to ensure necessary measures to protectthe Special students from heat wave within institute premises and while travelling in the bus including availability of clean and cold drinking water, fans and sunshades in open spaces.       F.1-10/97(Academics) FDE Government of Pakistan Federal Directorate of Education Islamabad the 17th May, 2024. All Heads of Institutions (HoIs) Islamabad Model Schools, Colleges/Ex-F.G. Colleges Urban and Rural Areas, Islamabad. Through: Area Education Officers Subject: TIMINGS FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (FDE) DUE TO EXTREME HEATWAVE I am directed to refer on the captioned subject and to say that extreme heat wave is predicated in the country during upcoming week. In prospect of health & safety of students, it is decided that all educational institutions working under the ambit of Federal Directorate of Education shall observe the following timings w.e.f. 20th May, 2024 till further order: Morning Shift:                                                      07:30 am to 12:30 pm (Mon-Thu)                                                                                07:30 am to 12:00 pm (Friday) Evening Shift:                                              01:00 pm to 06:00 pm (Mon-Thu) 02:00 pm to 06:00pm (Friday) 05minutes Morning assembly shall be held in the classrooms. 10 minutes break shall be given. 2.
