As per the announcement from the Registrar’s Office, all Teaching Departments, Institutes, Centres, Constituent Colleges, and Schools under the university will observe summer holidays from Thursday, June 5, 2025, to Friday, August 29, 2025. However, the administrative staff of all departments and institutes will remain on duty during this period. Furthermore, it has been clarified that the final semester exams and courses of BS 8th Semester students must be completed prior to the start of the summer break. Departments that require continued academic activities due to special circumstances may conduct classes or examinations for outgoing sessions only after obtaining prior approval from the Vice-Chancellor. As per the latest government notification issued on 20th May 2025, colleges will remain closed from 28 May (Wednesday) to 14 August (Thursday). All academic activities will resume on 15 August 2025 (Friday). However, in a key clarification, the BS 4-Year Degree Programs will continue to operate as per the academic calendar of their respective universities. In addition, board exams and university practical exams will be held according to the already notified schedules, and students must stay prepared accordingly.
