As per the notification issued by the School Education Department, all educational institutions in Punjab will follow a special schedule during Ramadan, effective from the first day of the holy month. According to the notification, single-shift schools will operate from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM (Monday to Thursday), while Friday timings will be 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Similarly, double-shift schools will have separate schedules for morning and evening shifts. Moreover, all girls’ schools will start and end 15 minutes earlier than the announced timings. This adjustment aims to provide convenience to students and teachers while ensuring that academic activities continue smoothly during the fasting period.
