Jamshoro District Declares Schools, Colleges and Universities Local Holidays Amid Heavy Rain Warning on 29th to 31st August 2024-Notification

NOTIFICATION

In view of ongoing heavy rain in District Jamshoro and warnings / alert issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Sindh regarding Heavy Rainfall — Wind / Thunderstorm from 27^th August-2024 to 31^st August-2024 and in pursuance of School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, Karachi, letter No. SO (GA) LHD / SE&LD / 2024 dated 28-08-2024, the 29^th  30^th and 31^st August 2024 are declared as Public Holidays for all the Govemment and Private Educational Institutions of District Jamshoro.

Moreover, the Universities within the territorial limits of District Jamshoro are also advised to declare Public Holidays on above mentioned days in  the best public interest.
