District Education Authorities Punjab.

Subject:              GUIDELINES REGARDING UTILIZATION OF BUDGET ALLOCATED TO THOSE SCHOOLS WHICH HAVE BEEN OUTSOURCED UNDER PUNJAB SCHOOLS RE-ORGANIZATION PROGRAM – PHASE-I

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that 5,863 Public Primary Schools have been outsourced by the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) during 1st phase under Punjab Schools Re-Organization Program (PSRP). It is intimated that no expenditures (Salary & Non-Salary Budget) may be made out of the budgetary allocation of those schools which have been outsourced under Phase-I of PSRP. A Third-Party Validation will be conducted for expenditures (Salary & Non-Salary Budget) incurred in these schools.

2.                     I am further directed to inform that Competent Authority has desired that the
budget of these 5,863 schools may be retained at the disposal of Chief Executive Officer concerned and a comprehensive plan for utilization of this budget as per actual needs may be prepared after consultation with Deputy Commissioner concerned under intimation to this Department.

3.                     The matter may kindly be given Top Priority.
