Teachers to Receive TA/DA for Leadership Trainings via Mobile Banking–Punjab Government Notification

Punjab Government Announces TA/DA Disbursement for Teachers Attending Leadership Training:

The Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), under the School Education Department, has officially announced the disbursement of TA/DA for teachers who participated in the Leadership Training Batch-1 and Batch-2 sessions. This initiative aims to compensate educators for their time and effort in professional development programs.

The Leadership Training Batch-1 was conducted from June 10, 2024, to July 2, 2024, and Batch-2 took place from July 8, 2024, to July 24, 2024. Each participant will receive a daily allowance of PKR 700 per day for face-to-face training sessions. The Punjab government has introduced a hassle-free mobile banking system to ensure smooth and transparent disbursement of funds.

Eligible teachers will receive their payments through Mobilink Microfinance Bank via JazzCash. Teachers with an active JazzCash account will get direct deposits, while those without an account will receive a CNIC-based disbursement code, enabling them to withdraw cash from JazzCash retail outlets using biometric verification.

All District Education Authorities have been directed to inform eligible teachers about the disbursement process and ensure that all dues are paid without delays. Please find the official notification below:

SUBJECT:            DISBURSEMENT OF TA/DA TO TEACHERS FOR LEADERSHIP TRAININGS BATCH – 1 & BATCH – 2

                              The PHCIP is pleased to inform you that the disbursement of TA/DA to teachers, for those who participated in the Leadership Trainings, has been initiated, for the Leadership Training Batch-1 held on 10^th June 2024 to 2^nd July 2024 and Batch-2 held on 8^th July 2024 to 24^th July 2024 (5 days each).

2.                           To facilitate this process, a daily allowance of PKR 700 per day per participant has been allocated for face-to-face training sessions. These funds are being transferred directly to the teachers using the mobile banking process through Mobilink Microfinance Bank with following disbursement process:

a)            For participants with an active Jazz Cash account, the funds will be credited directly to their Jazz Cash wallet.

b)           For participants without a Jazz Cash account, they will receive the funds through a CNIC-based disbursement process. Under this system, the participants will receive a code on their registered mobile phone. They shall visit the nearest Jazz Cash retail outlet, with the code. Who will verify the identity through biometric authentication and will hand over the cash.

3.                           You are accordingly requested to inform all concerned school teachers about this process to ensure a smooth disbursement of dues to eligible teachers.

• Teachers with a JazzCash account will receive funds directly in their JazzCash wallet.
• Teachers without a JazzCash account will receive a payment code on their registered mobile number.
• These teachers must visit the nearest JazzCash retailer, provide their CNIC and code, and complete biometric verification to withdraw cash.
