GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT Dated, Lahore the 11th August, 2024 NOTIFICATION NO.SO(A-I)1-31/2022: Consequent upon the decision of Competent Authority regarding observance of five days week in public schools, following schedule shall be observed upon opening of schools after summer vacation on 15th August, 2024: Schools Days Timings Single Shift Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Double Shift /Afternoon Monday to Thursday (Morning Shift) 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Friday (Morning Shift) 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Monday to Thursday (Afternoon /Evening Shift) 01:00 PM to 05:30 PM Friday (Afternoon /Evening Shift) 2:30 PM to 05:30 PM Schools Days Timings Activity Single Shift Monday to Thursday 07:45 AM to 02:30 PM Resource Preparation and formulation of Lesson Plan for classes, Continuous Professional Development (CPD), trainings, academic & co-circular activities, etc. would be under taken for all teacher of morning/ afternoon / evening shift schools during enhanced school hours and on alternate Saturday. Friday 07:45 AM to 12:30 PM Double Shift /Afternoon Monday to Thursday (Morning Shift) 07:45 AM to 02:00 PM Friday (Morning Shift) 07:45 AM to 12:30 PM Monday to Thursday (Afternoon /Evening Shift) 12:45 PM to 06:00 PM Friday (Afternoon /Evening Shift) 2:30 PM to 06:00 PM Alternate Saturday 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon 2. All Chief Executive Officers (District Education Authorities) in Punjab are directed to ensure strict compliance of orders.
